XWELL Battery Plasma Cleaning Machine Plasma Cleaner
1. Working Principle
Plasma cleaners generate plasma (the fourth state of matter) by energizing gases (e.g., oxygen, argon) through high-frequency electrical fields. This plasma consists of ions, electrons, radicals, and photons, which interact with contaminants on the material surface:
- Physical action: High-energy particles bombard and dislodge organic/inorganic residues .
- Chemical action: Reactive species (e.g., O⁺, Ar⁺) oxidize or decompose pollutants into volatile byproducts (e.g., CO₂, H₂O) .
The process occurs in a vacuum chamber (typically 10–100 Pa), ensuring minimal secondary pollution
2. Key Advantages
- Eco-friendly: Eliminates hazardous solvents (e.g., trichloroethylene) and reduces ozone-depleting substances (ODS) .
- High efficiency: Cleans complex structures (e.g., micro-holes, intricate electronics) in minutes .
- Material compatibility: Suitable for metals, polymers, ceramics, and sensitive substrates (e.g., PTFE) .
- Surface enhancement: Improves wettability, adhesion, and hydrophilicity for better coating/bonding .
- Low temperature: Operates at <40°C, preventing thermal damage
