LATP Solid Electrolyte Coating Isolation Film GMSS02 Double-sided Single Coating B/L2+2+7+1+2 Lithium Liquid Battery
Product Overview
The GMSS02 separator by Canrd Xwell is a multi-layer composite membrane designed for high-performance semi-solid lithium batteries. Combining a 7μm PE base with dual functional coatings (2μm boehmite + 2μm LATP) and PVDF adhesive layers, this white, smooth film enables superior thermal stability and electrode adhesion while maintaining ionic conductivity.

Material Advantages
-
Thermal Safety
- Boehmite coating provides 25% larger coverage than Al₂O₃ at equal mass
- Withstands 130°C with minimal shrinkage (<1.5%)
-
Electrochemical Performance
- LATP coating enhances Li⁺ transport (44 N/m bonding strength)
- PVDF layers enable >49 N/m electrode adhesion without blocking pores
-
Mechanical Reliability
- High puncture resistance (446gf) prevents dendrite penetration
- Balanced MD/TD elongation (112%) for winding compatibility
Applications & Limitations
✓ Ideal for:
- Semi-solid lithium batteries
- Coin cells & pouch cells
- High-temperature systems (≤130°C)
✖ Not suitable for:
- Pure solid-state batteries
- Sodium-ion batteries
Handling Protocol
- Storage: Keep sealed in dry environment (RH<30%)
- Processing: Use in dry rooms; avoid >60°C exposure before cell assembly
- Lifetime: 6 months in original vacuum packaging
